When we bought our house the previous owner had two standard fabric shower curtains, one at each end of the rod (and outside the vinyl liner), that were folded in such a way that there were three grommets on each hook.
I was not able to get a good look at the method she had used before my wife had the curtains down and in the wash, but she (my wife) has been expecting me to replicate the pleats for the past three years. I may have gotten close, but not the same.

Any suggestions?

Have spen hours searching, most of the results either show me how to put the curtain on the rod, or are trying to sell me shower curtains or hooks.

Unfortunately the prev owner passed before that year was out. so asking her is right out.

I would call the previous owner if possible. She would be thrilled to know you liked them that much. Or look through HGTV.com shows, searching "curtains". Good Luck
